Besides my beloved neutrals that I showed you in the Fall Beauty Edit, I do love to wear lipsticks in autumnal hues such as berry, rose or purple! Here's a selection of 10 of my favorite lipsticks in warm and rich shades for fall, with options for all budgets from drugstore to luxury brands.
If you haven't read my Fall Beauty Edit yet, consider taking a look. I shared my current favorite looks and the makeup products I use to create them. My absolute fave lip product this season is what I'm wearing in that post, and it comes in a jar... Go find out!
But as a beauty enthusiast with a severe lipstick obsession, I own a lot more great fall lippies than what I showed you in the Edit. Here are 10 of the ones I wear the most, with lots of berry tones and warm roses!
- Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Fuller Fig ($18.50): this lip crayon is a warm brown with plummy undertones. It's semi-sheer, nicely moisturizing and so easy to slap on in seconds when you are pressed for time. There's a good reason why Clinique's Chubby Stick are best sellers!
- Guerlain Rouge G Customizable Lipstick in 06 ($32 without the case): a little piece of luxury, the Rouge G has a very lightweight semi-opaque formula that is very easy to wear and forgiving on my dry lips yet quite long wearing. 06 is a great warm rosy pink that pairs with almost anything. Full review here.
- YSL Volupté Liquid Color Balm in 7 Grab Me Red ($32): this liquid balm is a lot more pigmented than its name would suggest, while remaining very comfortable on my chronically chapped lips. Grab Me Red is a pinkish watermelon red that is semi-opaque and great for a casual but feminine fall look. Full review here.
- Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Comfort Matte in Hitch Hike ($18): this brick red with rose undertones is a great shade for a warm fall look featuring bolder lips. The matte formula is very creamy and comfortable on my dry lips.
- Nars Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil in Dolce Vita ($27): if you don't mind sharpening your lip crayons, this semi-opaque soft red is the perfect everyday shade for an easy, feminine fall look. It's a nice velvety matte formula that glides well on and doesn't dry out the lips.
- Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur in 2 Rose Violine ($37): the price might make your eyes water a bit, but this glossy mid-tone pink with berry tones melts on the lips like butter and is incredibly comfortable to wear. It's also very pigmented and lasts as long as I don't eat a full meal. Full review here.
- Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in LA Pink ($37): if you like a glossy, lightweight lipstick that feels almost wet yet packs a great amount of buildable pigment, you'd love the Lacquer Stick. The deep rose LA Pink is perfect for fall. Full review here.
- Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Sultry ($8.49): one of the best drugstore Chubby Stick copycats, in a very creamy matte formula. The medium to deep berry pink is absolutely gorgeous, and it's so much more comfortable than a liquid matte!
- Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig ($21): this one has been an autumnal staple in my makeup bag for years! A very different interpretation of fig from the Clinique version, it's a medium plum with pink undertones, not too cool but decidedly purplish. It creates a striking contrast with my green eyes so I like to wear it with neutral eyeshadows. Full review here.
- Last minute bonus one that I forgot to include (how could I forget!!): the Lancôme Matte Shaker in Beige Vintage, a real beauty in the most adorable packaging. Check out my review to see swatches!
