RegenFX Skincare System: Ultimate Hyaluronic Complex Serum, Age Defying Moisturizer and Total Regeneration Eye Gel reviews

I recently had the opportunity to test RegenFX, a new brand of skincare that developed a simple and easy-to-use line of products to cover the needs of all skins. The range is composed of a hydrating serum, the Ultimate Hyaluronic Complex Serum, an eye contour treatment, the Total Regeneration Eye Gel, and a day/night moisturizer, the Age Defying Moisturizer. RegenFX products are designed for all skin types and specifically target aging. The brand claims that their anti-aging formula's benefits include lifting, volumizing, hydrating, toning and oxygenating. Key ingredients consist of peptide complexes, fibronectin, anti-oxidants, vitamin C, among other. To be honest, the description of the products is coated in a slippery layer of marketing language that doesn't always sound convincing, as if someone had tried to stuff as many keywords as possible in their pitch. So setting promises and references to "clinicals" or "holistic principles" aside, I tried to take a fresh look at the products themselves and judge them by what they do rather than how they're sold.

First, the packaging: air-tight pump containers are the best way to keep the fragile anti-oxidants in an anti-aging product fresh and effective, and all 3 products here come in that type of tube, which is a very good point. The black and white design is both simple and elegant, and it makes this line approachable by both men and women. The pumps also function perfectly well, you can apply more or less pressure if you want a full pump or just a little bit of product. Now let's take a look at each product individually.

Ultimate Hyaluronic Complex Serum

I've tested a handful of hyaluronic serums in the past few months, and this one turned out to be the best, hands down. The probable reason for this serum's great moisturizing abilities is the large amount of hyaluronic acid: it's the second ingredient in the list, which means there's a lot of it. Besides this powerful moisturizing ingredient, there are a few other beneficial ingredients thrown in the mix, like MSM, some forms of vitamins E, C and A, and a couple natural ingredients, aloe juice and witch hazel. I've had bad experiences with serums containing witch hazel in the past, but I didn't encounter any issue here. The serum doesn't technically contain fragrance, but it has a small amount of lavender oil, although it smells more like aloe to me. This is a lightweight, semi-transparent gel that feels very refreshing and penetrates into the skin immediately, leaving no residue.

Total Regeneration Eye Gel

Again, I've tested several eye gels in the past months and this one is a very solid choice. It's more substantial than others I've tried, providing more moisture and making my eye contour fresh and plump. It contains aloe and cucumber extract, two beneficial ingredients commonly found in eye gels, but also a number of peptides and plant extracts, including licorice, which is know for its effect on discoloration. This one also absorbs immediately and makes a good base for makeup, causing no pilling or creasing with my concealer.

Age Defying Moisturizer

I wasn't able to use this one on my own face for the simple reason that it contains peppermint oil, to which I'm sensitive. If you're not, and if you enjoy a minty fresh scent in your skincare, then you're likely to love it (I'm thinking guys would probably really like it). It's very lightweight and doesn't feel greasy at all. This one also contains several peptides, cell-communicating agents that research has shown possess tissue regenerating properties.

Overall: RegenFX skincare regimen contains good products based on interesting formulations. The products I was able to try performed very well and they are good basics anyone could benefit from using.

Where to buy? The brand is planning a launch in store in the future, but for now it's exclusively available at Amazon.

    1. I tried to take a picture of the ingredients list, but it just wasn't fully readable (because printed on these cylindrical tubes you couldn't see an entire line).

  5. You are so right, whenever I read a marketing description it annoys me beyond reason what they claim their product will do and how "scientific" everything is. Sometimes I dislike a great product just because the claims they made bother me too much...

    1. Sometimes it's just plain lies which I find outrageous. Here it's more blabla that doesn't make sense.
