The biggest sale of the year is here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has already started for Nordstrom card holders, and will open to everyone else on July 20 until it all ends on August 5. Besides the amazing deals on fashion and shoes, the Anniversary Sale is always a great time to score beauty products from top brands at a discount, with lots exclusive sets. Here are my makeup, skincare and candle picks for this year's sale!

TOP 5 BEAUTY PICKS

diptyque atelier cologne chanel guerlain yves saint laurent

These are the 5 products I'm the most tempted to buy for myself:

- Diptyque Candle Set ($55): I've been wanting a set of candles from them for so long! This is the best price I've ever seen although the candles are quite small. I'm so excited to try the Figuier and Feu de Bois ones (fig tree and wood fire).
- Best of Atelier Cologne Rollerball Set ($25): Atelier Cologne is one of my favorite perfume brand. I got several of their sets in the past, including their Advent Calendar last Christmas! This affordable set contains some of my favorite fragrances: Orange Sanguine, Sud Magnolia, Cèdre Atlas, Vanille Insensée.
- Chanel Rouge Coco Coral Set ($100): this set includes a Rouge Coco Lipstick, a Rouge Coco Lip Blush (lip & cheek cream, see my recent review) and a Rouge Coco Gloss in a cute makeup pouch. There's also a Pink Set available.
- Guerlain Terracotta Sous les Palmiers ($65): here is the second collector's summer 2018 Terracotta bronzer from Guerlain! I was wondering why it wasn't coming to the US, but just like the Chic Tropic last year, it's making its debut at the Nordstrom Sale.
- Yves Saint Laurent Nude Edition Lip Set ($74): this set contains a Rouge Pur Couture, a Rouge Volupté Shine and a Vinyl Cream Lip Stain, all in nude shades coming in a black pouch. I love the formulas of all of these lip products! There's also a Pink Edition Lip Set.

MAKEUP PICKS

There are lots of makeup sets and palettes available so it was hard to make a small selection, but here are the products that really caught my eye:

- Nars Undressed Liquid Lip Set ($49): includes two of the brand's new Powermatte Lip Pigments and two Velvet Lip Glides in nude colors. This set is a really good value, with lip products worth a total of $104.
- Charlotte Tilbury The Pretty Pink Lipstick Set ($60): I've heard great things about Charlotte's lip liners and lipsticks, but I've never tried them! This set contains a Matte Revolution Lipstick, a KISSING lipstick and a lip liner in peachy nude colors.
- Dior Addict Coral Glow Lip Set ($70): another cool lip set by one of my favorite brands! This one from Dior comes in a pretty pink makeup bag and includes a Lip Glow, one of the brand's most popular lippie, and a Dior Addict Lacquer Stick, a fantastic formula for vibrant color and shine (see my review), plus a mini lip plumper. Dior also offers this set in a pink version.
- Sigma Beauty Classic Copper Essential Brush Set ($50): I've had a great experience with Sigma brushes so far, and I really want to try more from the brand. This set includes their popular F80 foundation brush and the basic brushes I need to create an eye look.
- Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-in-Balm Kiss Set ($45): I love the Tint-in-Balm lipsticks (see my review) and one of them is a Nordstrom exclusive (Downtown Nude).
- Charlotte Tilbury Pretty Glowing Skin Palette ($75): Charlotte's face powders also have a very good reputation, and I think this pretty palette would be a great way to try her blushes, highlighters and bronzers.
- BECCA Sananas Passport to Glow Parisian Glow Set ($46): this cute set includes the Parisian Lights highlighter plus a lipgloss in Rose Quartz, a mini Backlight Priming Filter and a mini Soft Light Blurring Powder.
- Winky Lux Sweet Set ($26): this is the cutest pick of my selection! It's a shimmering lipstick and lip topper, but what I really want is the cupcake pouch!
- Laura Mercier Illuminator Palette ($52): here's another popular product that I've been wanting to try for a while, in a value palette. The highlighters by Laura Mercier get great reviews.

SKINCARE PICKS

The Anniversary Sale is the right time to try new brands or beauty tools. Here's what I think is worth grabbing:

- Lancôme Bi-Facil Home & Away Set ($58.50): Bi-Facil is one of the most popular eye makeup remover for a good reason. It works great to remove everything, even long-wearing and waterproof mascara or eyeliner. This set contains a huge jumbo-size bottle plus a mini for travel, and a sample of a cream cleanser.
- Thalgo Source Marine Hydrating Duo ($64): Thalgo is a French skincare brand we don't hear much about, but they always have sets available during the Anniversary Sale. It's a good time to try something new with their products infused with sea minerals.
- PMD Microderm and Kiss devices ($99 and $93): I reviewed both of these tools a couple months ago, and I think they're both worth getting at this discounted price! The Microderm is a very effective at-home microdermabrasion device, and the Kiss is a painless, needle-free way to get fuller lips temporarily.
- Dermovia DRY Mask Waterless Facial Mask SkinFix Kit ($35): I like the idea of dry fabric masks, but I've never tried one. This kit contains four different masks to address various concerns: pores, stressed skin, dryness, and there's a makeup primer mask.
- Compagnie de Provence Cotton Flower & Wild Rose Liquid Marseille Soap Duo ($31): I love liquid Savon de Marseille! I just finished the ones I brought back from my last trip to France and I'm now considering trying this brand.

CANDLES

I'm a candle lover - I have a cabinet full of candles of different shapes and sizes at home! Besides the Diptyque set which is my number one choice, here are a few I'd like to get as well:

- Ethics Candles ($29.90): these candles are inspired by national parks and infused with natural essential oils. I saw and sniffed them at a store a while back and really loved them, but the full price is little high for me. They're a bit more affordable with this sale!
- Voluspa Maison Noir Two-Wick Candle Trio ($29.50): we all know the Voluspa candles in their little tin boxes. This trio includes scents that I really enjoy: Crisp Champagne, Mandarino Cannela and Pomegranate Blood Orange.
- Simpatico Hobnail Glass Candle ($19.90): I love when candles come in reusable glass jars, and this purple one would look great in my house!
