Summer Beauty: My Wishlist

Have you updated your beauty routine for the summer? While I'm digging into my stash to find my favorite coral lipsticks and peachy blushes, I also have my eyes on a few new products for the upcoming season. Keep reading to take a look at my wishlist!

- Benefit Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation: this brand new foundation is supposed to be lightweight and buildable with a natural matte finish. I'm all for light coverage foundations, especially in the summer! I was planning to buy the Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh, but the Hello Happy sounds similar and it's much cheaper. I'll wait for it to arrive in stores so I can check if they have a good shade match for me.

- Guerlain Terracotta Route des ÃŽles: I need a new bronzer like a hole in the head but this is really pretty.  From the wooden compact to the compass design, I love everything about this limited edition Terracotta. I don't want to start collecting all of Guerlain's LE bronzers but... should I?

- Kiehl's Buttermask Intense Repair Lip Treatment: you'd think my lips wouldn't be as chapped in the summer... but you'd be wrong! With my chronically dry lips I need some seriously nourishing repair balm and this new one looks right up my alley.

- Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream SPF40: I'm really good about wearing sunscreen daily - living in sunny San Diego, I have to! But every time I wash my hands the sunscreen is removed from the top, which is an area particularly prone to age spots. I think that having a hand cream with SPF in my purse at all times would help me keep my skin better protected.

- Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask: I love the idea of a juicy watermelon mask to quench my skin in the summer. Plus this mask would be a good way to try trendy brand Glow Recipe without breaking the bank.

- Coola Dawn Patrol Makeup Primer SPF30: I really like Coola's Daydream primer with SPF, so I'm curious to see how different Dawn Patrol is. I hope they fixed the bottle, which was my one complaint with Daydream: the pump stopped being able to reach the product at the bottom of the glass bottle when there was still about 20% left.

- boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer and Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream: I'm one of these people who get a sweaty face very easily when it's hot, and I can't even stand the idea of a rich moisturizer in the summer. I need very light gel formulas in the warmer months, and I'm really intrigued by these two new releases. I'm not sure which one to pick, have you tried either one?

- Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette: last but not least, Urban Decay's latest palette release. The brand has been churning out tons of new products recently (it's a disturbing trend in the beauty industry) and to be honest I have no interest in most of them. But this palette gives me old school Urban Decay vibes - anybody old enough to remember their huge NYC palette? I'm not sure the color selection is really for me, with lots of red-based shades, but it still looks very tempting!
