Looking for small presents that will stuff stockings nicely without breaking the bank this holiday season? I have 10 fresh ideas for your beauty loving friends, all $10 and under, and no, they don't include hair ties or nail files! Instead, I picked nine brand new and fun products plus one staple everyone should try.

The trick when shopping for beauty stocking stuffers that will surprise and delight your friends is to look past holiday gifts selection that retailers try to push down your throat. My picks don't have reindeers printed on the packaging and don't come in the shape of an ornament (who hangs those in their tree, seriously?!), but they're useful and exciting!

- ColourPop Super Shock Shadow $5: Colourpop's rise to a successful makeup brand is entirely due to these cream-to-powder shadows that are so affordable, easy-to-use and come in plenty of colors. You can buy one of the three limited edition holiday shades at Sephora - or buy two without going over your $10 budget!

- Butter London Pantone Color of the Year 2018 Nail Lacquer $10: this is just in! Pantone named Ultra Violet, a bold blue-based purple, as the color of the year for 2018. Butter London was the first brand to release a collection honoring the winning shade. Besides nail lacquers, they also have a liquid lipstick, a gloss and an eyeliner.

- Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover $9.50: this thing is a life changer for anyone who likes their nail polish. You dip your finger in the jar and rub it against the foam, and voilà, your nail lacquer is gone within seconds. I've tried many knockoffs of this magic jar throughout the years and none worked as well. The person you'll give it to has either never tried it, in which case their mind will be blown, or they have and they'll love you for getting them a new one.

- Yes To Coconut Scrub & Cleanser Stick $9.99: skincare sticks are a big trend these days.  Sephora's shelves are full of sticks from expensive brands like Tarte and Milk, from cleansers to primers. This scrub + cleanser stick is a newly released dupe for Tarte Frxxxtion ($22), and Yes To also released a stick moisturizer with coconut oil that's a great affordable alternative to Milk's $24 Hydrating Oil Stick.

- Hask Unwined Cabernet Sauvignon Deep Conditioner $3.99: wine in everything? I'm all for it! You can pick this hair mask in your giftee's favorite variety from Pinot Grigio to rosé from Provence. Besides the fun and indulgent idea, these masks contain wine extracts, resveratrol and grape seed oil to nourish and smooth the hair.

- Vaseline Lip Tint Pink Bubbly $3.49: more wine, yeah! A little tin of Vaseline lip balm will work wonders to soothe and repair super dry, chronically chapped lips (like mine). Bonus points for the festive flavor, and it also does contain wine extract for the added benefits! I already bought this one for myself.

- Cover FX Perfect Light Mini Highlighter $10: for the ones who love to shine! This highlighter gets great reviews and considering how little you need each time, the travel-size will last for months.

- Almay Shadow Squad $6.99: Almay is a drugstore brand that is rarely mentioned by "beauty gurus", but that has a few gems in their makeup line. With these newly launched eyeshadow quads you get one shade in four finishes: matte, satin, metallic and glitter. Isn't that a cool idea to experiment with different textures? You can choose from 15 shades, with lots of neutrals but also a turquoise and a lilac.

- Yes To Superbluberries Super Eye Mask $2.99: part superfood, part super hero mask. These new eye masks are fun and you know they will be used in selfies! Besides the blueberries, they also come in cucumber and coconut-coffee.

- Sephora Hand Mask $6: want to gift gloves? Here you go! These single-use hand masks look silly but they'll moisturize hands that get dried out, red and itchy in the cold.
