Just a quick update this week (I've been spending my day between urgent care and the pharmacy trying to get a prescription filled, I hate you Rite Aid!), but an exciting one. If you shop online at Sephora, you know that they recently started to have a week-long sale on a couple of a products that change every Thursday, called the Weekly Wow. This week, there's a great product by French brand Lancôme on sale, the Drama Liqui-Pencil Longwear Eyeliner. Keep reading for a quick review and swatches!

Lancôme launched this range of eyeliners for fall 2015, and I picked one up right away in the shade called Minuit. It's a beautiful, very deep blue in a shimmer-free, satin finish. Here's a quick review to help you decide if you should grab a few of these pencils during the sale.

I like

- The texture feels like a gel liner more than a traditional pencil. It's very, and I mean very soft, richly pigmented, opaque in one swipe. Not tugging or skipping!
- The colors are intense and vibrant, and there's a lot of shades in the range, including some shimmery ones.
- It does last very long, even on the waterline.

I don't like

- Because it's so soft, it has to be sharpened very often. The body of the pencil is made of a foamy plastic kind of material, so sharpening isn't difficult.
- It never looks completely smooth and even on my lower waterline. Very few liners do, but it's worth noting.
- You can blend it out with a brush for a softer look, but you have to use a light hand when you do, or it can become patchy.

Overall

The Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil is one of the very best pencil liners I've ever used, and for $15 on sale I totally recommend it if you're tempted!
