Get excited beauty enthusiasts, Guerlain's Holiday 2016 collection has hit the shelves! The French brand typically makes the most beautiful Holiday collection of all - remember last year's awe-inspiring Neiges et Merveilles?

This year's collection has an interesting twist: it is inspired by Guerlain's own legendary Shalimar fragrance, first created in 1921. From the famous fan-shaped bottle, the collection has taken the blue color of the cap and the golden hue of the fragrance itself. Natalia Vodianova, the face of Guerlain makeup and of Shalimar fragrance for years, worked with the brand's creative director Olivier Echaudemaison to create this limited edition collection.

There is no eye and face palette this year, but an eyeshadow duo, a winter Terracotta called Terra India, and, of course, a gorgeous limited edition of the cult Météorites pearls of powder, Perles de Légende. Add to that a golden eyeliner, a perfumed iridescent powder and a special edition Rouge G lipstick, and you have a beautiful, gift-worthy collection. I wouldn't wait too long if you want any of the products, whether for yourself or to give away for the Holidays, as they're likely to sell out quickly! I ordered the Météorites as soon as I saw them online, so expect a review in the next few weeks ;)

PS: fear not, there will be a #FrenchFriday post this week, I'm working as fast as I can to bring you my first impressions of the new Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Liquid Matte Lipstick! Besides the color I own I want to try and get swatches of all the shades, so the post might actually go live early Saturday morning in your time zone. Check back tomorrow morning!
