Just a quick post today to let you know about an opportunity to try out some L'Occitane Shea Butter goodies for free! If you regularly get L'Occitane's newsletter, you should have received an email last week with this offer: you can get a free Cocooning Kit in any L'Occitane US store, no purchase necessary.
The kit is composed of a cute tall round tin box (I'll reuse it to store loose tea, it's the perfect shape!) and two deluxe samples from the Shea Butter line, the Hand Cream and the Light Comforting Cream. If you do want to make a purchase that day, you get $10 off your purchase, applicable to anything except hand creams and soaps (from what the sales associate told me, there is no minimum purchase to receive the discount in-store).
You can also redeem this offer online together with free shipping with the code received in your email, but you'll need to make a minimum purchase of $35. The offer is valid until May 11, 2016 or until supplies last. The email mentions something about the $10 off being valid until May 31 online, but it's not very clear (contradictory statements in different footnotes) so I wouldn't wait that long.
I've noticed in the past that I was usually not asked to show the email to receive similar offers, but the sales associate did ask to see the original message this time. If that can help you find it in your inbox, I received the email on April 11, and the title was "You'll Want To See This!". Interestingly, the tin box has a sticker that says "Facebook Operation", and the SA did ask if I received that offer on Facebook. A quick look at L'Occitane's Facebook page didn't show anything about the Cocooning Kit, but if you like the brand's page and didn't receive the email, you might want to go through your feed for the offer.
If you're in the US are you planning to claim your Cocooning Kit?
