I've noticed that new offers have been added since the sale started on Thursday morning, so I'll keep an eye on it and update if new products become available. There are so many French stuff for sale that I've had to break this post in two. This first post is all about makeup and skincare, while the second post gives you all the details about the other opportunities (mostly fragrances). Let's take a peek!
Makeup
Lancôme Mascara Wardrobe set: contains 3 of the brand's most popular mascaras (including Hypnôse and Définicils), a lash primer, eyeliner, and the cult Bi-Facil eye makeup remover, all in travel sizes, for $39. It's a great way to try them all.
Yves Saint Laurent Rock Attitude Glossy Stain Set: contains one classic Glossy Stain and 2 products from the brand's new summer collection, a Pop Water Glossy Stain and a lip plumper, in a pretty red pouch, for $72 ($108 value).
Dior Addict Lipstick: I had been wondering where the 2 missing shades of this summer's Tie Dye collection Addict lipstick were hiding (there were 6 on the original promo pics, but only 4 had made their way to the US), and here they are: Cosmic Pink and Hypnotic Plum! $33
Dior Vernis in Majesty: this shade was part of the spring Kingdom of Colors collection, but again apparently didn't make it to the US (correct me if I'm wrong) until now. This is a pastel peach that looks perfectly opaque, from the swatches I could find. $27.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat - Rock Resille Radiant Touch: this was exclusive to YSL's website until now, this is the cult Touche Éclat in a sexy dress, but only comes in 3 shades (the regular Touche Éclat has 12). $42.
Yves Saint Laurent Rock Résille Couture Palette: same as above, this was an yslbeauty.com exclusive so far. As far as I can tell, this is the first appearance of this shade combo called Plumetis (YSL has been known to repackage permanent shades in LE compacts but it doesn't appear to be the case here). $60.
Dior Eye Reviver - Rosy Palette: The Eye Reviver palette had the blogosphere all excited a few months ago, and it's now available in a new, exclusive shade, Rosy, while the original one leaned more beige/neutral. $62
Guerlain Météorites - Summer Edition Pearls: I checked with Nordstrom, and these are the Rainbow Pearls, a shade part of Guerlain's summer 2015 collection, so they're not new or exclusive. From other pictures I've found, they're definitely not as bright as they seem on the Nordie pic (someone got the saturation cranked up to the max here). $62
Chanel Travel Makeup Palette: a beautiful palette with products for the eyes, face and lips, makeup brushes and a travel-size Inimitable mascara. $95 (ouch).
Skincare
Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate Duo: you get a full-size plus a travel size of Double Serum, one of Clarins' most popular product. It's been around for decades, but it has recently been reformulated (it used to come in a tube divided in 2 chambers, with 2 phases of the product that would only mix when you pressed the pump, hence the Double Serum name). $135 for a $204 value.
Evian Facial Water Spray Set: mineral water sprays are great for summer! Here you get one 10 oz large bottle, plus 2 minis to keep in your purse, a $33 value for $17.50 (really good deal if you ask me). There's also a set of 6 x 1.7 oz sprays for $21 ($42 value).
Thalgo Hydrating Day & Night Duo: a spa brand based on algae and marine ingredients, Thalgo is not as well-known as the other French beauty brands I'm showing you here. This hydrating set is a great opportunity to discover the brand's Marine Beauty universe, with the Energizing Vitality Day Cream and the Relaxing Night Cream, a $122 value for $64.
Dior One Essential Set: I talked to you about Dior skincare a couple weeks ago. This set contains their star "detoxifying" product, One Essential. You get a full size of the One Essential Intense Skin Detoxifying Booster Serum, plus travel sizes of the One Essential City Defense Toxin Shield Pollution & UV Advanced Protection SPF 50 and Capture Totale DreamSkin Serum, as well a white pouch. $172
Clarins Jumbo Moisture-Rich Body Lotion: jumbo size of the good old hydrating lotion, a really good deal at $54 for a $84 value. Time to stock up!
Clarins SPF 50 Daily Protection Duo: this was the first liquid sunscreen to be worn on top of moisturizer and under makeup when it launched about a decade ago. With its lightweight, non-greasy finish, it's still a solid option to protect your skin from harmful sun rays. You get 2 full-size bottles for $62, an $84 value.
Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate Duo: in the past few years Lancôme has launched many innovative skincare products, this Advanced version of Génifique being one of the newest. It's an anti-aging serum that's supposed to give visible result in 7 days. Here you get 2 x 1.7 oz bottles for $150 ($208 value).
Thalgo Hydrating Serum Duo: another product from Thalgo's hydrating line, and this one is basically buy one, get one free - $70 for a $140 value.
Where to buy? exclusively at Nordstrom. Click on the link or image for direct access to the product page (affiliate links).

I tried the Advanced Genifique Serum and didnt like it, but I´d love me some Lancome mascaras.

Too bad, this serum isn't exactly cheap... Their mascaras are great! Have you ever tried one?
DeleteSo many good looking items! That first Lancome set is a pretty good deal actually! I really love their mascaras! I'm curious about the Guerlain Météorites Summer Edition Pearls. I've always wanted to try the Météorites stuffs. They look really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe mascara set really looks awesome. You need to try the Météorites, seriously! If you like the Hourglass Ambient Lightning powders, well, this is much better imo!
DeleteI haven't tried these products but i do like the big bronzer Clarins releases every summer, I have the one that looks like a Mayan calendar

That bronzer looks so beautiful! I also love their seasonal eyeshadow palettes, they're very cute.
DeleteWould love the YSL Rock Attitude Glossy Stains - can't beat a bit of YSL x

In terms of lippies I really think you can't beat YSL these days!
DeleteEeeeek, those summer edition météorites! <3 Majesty looks like a really pretty color.
ReplyDeleteThey look nice, right? Do you have other editions of the Météorites?
DeleteI'm lemming those YSL sets as well! So many goodies I want!
ReplyDeleteThis set is the first thing that caught my eye!
DeleteI almost bought the meteorites and then stopped. I'm not a big fan of the whole 'finishing powders' concept, the Hourglass powders didn't work for me :( I got the NARS lip pencil set and love it! The Lancome masacara wardrobe is another one that's on my list but hasn't made it to the 'Place Order' level yet :D
ReplyDeleteImo the Meteorites are much, much better than the Hourglass Ambient Light powders. The latter didn't work for me either, there was no visible effect except for a powdery finish! My Meteorites on the other hand give me a nice luminosity. And I've had them for 10+ years so the heavy price tag is more like an investment!
DeleteYou might want to take a look at the permanent shades first though, seasonal editions are typically more sparkly (not sure about this summer's version).
+1 for such detailed info Lulle! This was very helpful! I'm going to scour the internet for swatches of these now :D I hope they don't end up looking grey on my medium deep skin though!
DeleteNot that I need any new palettes, but that Dior Eye Reviver looks like it would look fabulous in my makeup bag... Haha.

It's intriguing right? Did you try the original, neutral version of this palette?
