Spring colors for soft makeup looks

Spring is finally here! Wait, was it ever Winter? Not really in San Diego, where flowers have been blooming and veggies growing in my backyard for several months now. In the makeup world, Spring means that soft colors and pastels are coming back after a few months of deeper shades of taupes, berries and plums. Here's my little selection of colors to wear for Spring, delicate hues of pink and peach.

1 - Rouge Bunny Rouge Fire Drops in Sleeping Under the Mandarin Tree: a loose shadow powder in a very luminous shade of shimmery light apricot. You can find it on beautyhabit.com

2 - Lancôme Color Design Infinité in Enduring Vert: a light, shimmery minty green. Available online or at your department store.

3 - Clinique Lid Smoothie in Bit O' Honey: a creamy light shimmery beige with a refreshing metal applicator. Born Freesia, a shimmery lavender, is also a great choice for Spring. Available online or at your department store.

4 - Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow & Eye Liner in Charcoal: a nicely pigmented shade of medium gray, softer than black for an easy look, and it's only 99 cents! Available online or at your drugstore.

1 - Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop: a very soft, buildable peachy coral with a flattering satin finish. Available online or at your department store.

2 - Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Orchid Hush: a light, pink toned lavender. Available online or at your drugstore.

3 - L'Oreal Visible Lift Color Lift Blush in Peach Gold Lift: an iridescent peach, to add warmth and highlight the cheeks. Available online or at your drugstore.

1 - Paul & Joe Glossy Lip Color in Savoir-Faire: a rosy nude with a bit of shine for a polished, luscious nude lip. You can find it online.

2 - Clinique Chubby Stick for lips in Woppin' Watermelon and Mega Melon: the cult, super comfortable lip balm crayon in sheer shades of medium pink and burnt orange. Available online or at your department store.

3 - Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake: a semi-opaque light cool pink that melts on the lips. Available online or at your drugstore.

4 - Givenchy Le Rouge in Rose Dentelle: a rose with red undertones in a semi-matte finish. Available online or at your Sephora store.

5 - Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 04 Petal Shimmer: a very sheer, comfortable balm in a light peachy shade. Available online or at your department store.

6 - Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in HD Petalite: a warm pink with golden shimmer. Available online or at your drugstore.

7 - Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in 210 Blush Twist: a soft, ballet pink with a bit of shimmer. Available online or at your drugstore.

- not on the above pictures because I forgot it, Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in Cantaloupe Cream: a light creamy peach. See my review here. Availabe online or at your drugstore.

Cantaloupe Cream is the 1st shade at the bottom
